Central Hardware

Central Hardware

Central Hardware was at the time a midwestern components retail store chain dependent in St. Louis, Missouri. Central was a single of the initially home improvement retail store chains to regularly create outlets topping 50,000 sq. toes. This retail store in Columbus was built in 1979. In the late 1980s and nineties, other chains like Hechinger and Builders Sq. with greater outlets moved into the region. The Central Hardware chain went bankrupt in 1995 and shut down all their outlets. Central at the time experienced outlets in several markets. Some of these markets consist of Columbus, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and Memphis.
